View Mode
Toggle View Mode
Toggle View Mode can be done by clicking the button on the top right of the screen or by using the keyboard shortcut.

Select View Mode
When Render mode is off, select the display mode by right-clicking the button (4) and choosing from the thumbnails.

Toggle Show Edges and Faces
Toggle show Edges and Faces can be done by right-clicking the button (4) and choosing from the thumbnails.

Custom Matcaps
- Prepare your custom matcaps files (both EXR and PNG files need to be with identical names).
- Locate the .plasticity directory on your OS (Operating System) and create a new folder "matcaps".
- Windows - "X:/username/username/.plasticity"
- Mac - "~/.plasticity"
- Linux -"X:/usr/lib/plasticity/resources/app/.webpack/main/dot-plasticity"
- Place your custom matcaps in the folder and restart Plasticity.
💡
Tip Ensure that both the EXR and PNG files are 512x512 pixels with a transparent background. The EXR file should also be in at least a 16-bit color range.
